Recently God has placed on my heart to do a Martha and Mary Bible study. Now, if you know the story of Martha and Mary, then you know there isn’t much to study. But as I dove into this small story in the Bible, I realized it had great impact to my heart as a homemaker.
We all do it––homemaker guilt. We guilt ourselves for not getting everything done. We guilt ourselves for not focusing on the things we should be focusing on. When things get done around the house, we guilt ourselves for not spending more time with the kids. When we spend time doing self-care, we feel homemaker guilt from not cleaning the house. And the vicious cycle continues.
But what if we could completely drop the homemaker guilt and sit at the feet of Jesus with confidence and grace? That’s what this Martha and Mary Bible study is all about.
Check out the video below for this devotional and what God has been showing me during this Martha and Mary Bible study.
