The world is beyond chaotic here at the beginning of 2021. It is especially confusing for Christians in America. And the question continues to be asked, has God forgotten America? In this week’s Choosing Simple podcast, we answer this exact question. From allowing judgement on a nation, to encouraging you to occupy until He comes . . . this episode will encourage you to live the life God intended for you to live, even if you’re confused.
As the weeks and months continue to unfold with confusion, persecution, and crazy, I want to encourage you to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Evil persists when the gospel is not preach. Nations become better when good people grow in number. Good people grow in number when we preach the gospel and bring people into His kingdom. But we cannot preach the gospel if we’re too busy arguing about politics. And we cannot preach an efficient gospel with half-truths, being unkind, and when seeking being “right” instead of being “holy”.

Amy, thank you for this topic on your broadcast. You always bring a calm perspective to whatever you are speaking about. I really enjoy following you and learning from you.
Have you thought of writing a devotional? Maybe you already have and I have missed it.
God bless you and your family.

Thanks Amy. So many great thoughts. Do you know the story of Immaculee Ilibagiza? The story of how God hid her and the ladies who were hiding with her during the genocide in Rwanda is miraculous and powerful.
The beginning of my conversion came about by the death of my daughter’s close friend in the earthquake in Haiti.
Jesus is Lord, now and forever. He conquered death. On this Palm Sunday may we claim him as our King, praise his victory, and continue to die with him so we can rise ever more gloriously according to His perfect plan.
